Can Tab drop off locations
Can tabs can be delivered several ways:
- directly to the Shriners (click for details)
- directly to a Thirsty Lizard (see immediately below)
- at a participating drop off location (see further below)
Finding a Thirsty Lizard is not as easy as you'd think.
We usually are pounding away on our computers in the desert, and we are naturally shy and prone to scurrying away, but occasionally we surface, mingle, quench our thirst and collect can tabs. Fortunately, many others are helping us to collect can tabs as well.
You can drop off your can tabs at any of the following locations and we'll make sure they get to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Check back often as we are always adding new locations.

Thanks for helping us to help the kids.
Shriners Hospitals for Children in Springfield and Boston have been collecting pull-tabs or “pop-tops” from beverage cans since 1989, recycling them, and putting the money toward programs that directly benefit children. Since its inception, about a half-million pounds of aluminum tabs have been collected and recycled.
