25 lbs collected at Grey Fox 2006!

can tabThank you, thank you, thank you!

We collected 25 pounds of can tabs from enthusiastic festival attendees at this year's Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival (July 13-16).

From single tabs to huge containers full of tabs, Grey Fox staff and patrons alike contributed their can tabs thru out the 4 day festival.

The tabs collected were delivered to the Pyramid Shriners #9 in Milford, CT to be distributed to the Springfield, MA Shriners Hospital.

Thanks for helping us to help the kids.

Shriners Hospital for Children logoShriners Hospitals for Children in Springfield and Boston have been collecting pull-tabs or “pop-tops” from beverage cans since 1989, recycling them, and putting the money toward programs that directly benefit children. Since its inception, about a half-million pounds of aluminum tabs have been collected and recycled.

What they're saying ...
"Working with Thirsty Lizards has always been a dream. But now that I can update my own text and photos, I have the best of both worlds: professional web support with the convenience of updating my site whenever I wish. The page manager is easy to use, the tools are intuitive, and I know Steve is always there if I run into a snag. If you're ready to fly through the air with the greatest of ease -- but still need a net -- this is the place to jump!"
